Where Do Your Donations Go?

  • MEDICAL EXPENSES FOR INJURED/RETIRED POLICE SERVICE DOGS. As you can imagine, our K9 partners become a part of our family. Upon retiring, each handler becomes responsible for veterinary expenses. Members of our association are allowed to apply and get partial reimbursement for retired police service dogs.
  • TRAINING REQUESTS. Police K9 teams require a vast amount of training and experience to perform at the level that is demanded of us. The LACPCA will pay for handlers to attend outside training to expand their knowledge base and then share those skills with the rest of the membership.
  • LACPCA ADVANCED K9 HANDLER SEMINAR. Once a year, the LACPCA hosts a week-long training seminar for K9 teams to hone their skills. Through your donations we able to invite and fly in some of the best trainers in the industry from around the country.

How Can You Help?

Through your generousity we are able to make all these training event available to our members and to help offset the costs of taking care of our loyal retired partners. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
